Yesterday, I went to the CCAI retirement reception, and Joshua, who founded the agency with his wife Lily, was there. I really enjoyed meeting him. He was very funny and down to earth, and made an obvious effort to talk with everyone there. He also talked about the fact that adoption is a mission for he and his wife, and you could see the passion that he has for chinese children and adoption. He also stated that it may take the CCAA several months to work out a means to process the significant increase in dossiers being sent in, and we should plan on wait times between log in and referral hanging around that 9-10 month mark for a while yet. " You may have to wait a little longer, but It will happen" he said. My new mantra! I had a great time at the reception. I'm really glad I went. Posted by Picasa
