And Still We Wait

Seasons change.

Summer bleeds into fall,

And Winter arrives with all its fury,

And still we wait...............

The Thread that joins us grows shorter.

Tugging ever so gently at our hearts,

with each passing day,

And still we wait..........

Friends and Family ask questions that cannot be answered.

When will you hear?

When will you go?

And time goes by,

And still we wait.............

But we wait in the security of our cozy, warm home.

Where are you?

Are you safe and warm?

Questions fill our heads,

And still we wait...................

They say that patience brings great gifts.

At the end of the wait,

Destiny will intervene and we will be connected,

and until then,

We Will Wait...........
