One week ago today, a little angel drifted into our lives. We are so thankful for her, we're like "PEAS AND CARROTS" as Forest Gump would say. She fits into the curve of my arms like she was meant to be there.
learned her name, and responds when you call out to her
built up more trunk strength. The first day she would fall backwards about half the time when you sat her up, and sometimes she would sink lower and lower forward until her head almost rested on her toy. Now she can sit up for long periods and play without slumping forward or falling backward.
built upper arm strength. She can scoot backwards on her tummy and rocks back and forth, in preparation for crawling.
Begun to reach for us when being held by others.
Begun to mimic our facial expressions and noises
She likes:
meal time and bath time
having lotion rubbed all over
riding in her stroller
her tiger, JoJo, stacking cups, play telephone, texture chicken
to play gidiup horsey
to snuggle
riding in the car and looking out the window
watching t.v. (shhh! we'll limit this, but she's so fascinated by it!)
She does NOT like:
to take her medicine--spits it out, and sometimes projectile spits it into mommys face ;0
people touching her ears- will push your hand away
a bottle thats too cool, too hot, too thick or too thin---sister girl likes it juuuuuust right
having her nose wiped---she's a strong little bugger, too.
We are so in love with this little girl!
P.S. In case you're wondering whas up with my hair in all the pics---well, I havent had a curling iron since Hong Kong, and the humidity averages about 98% here.
enough said, right?
