First we went to Sonia and Kailee's baby shower. Amelia's first big girl party. The picture above is Miss Mia winning a door prize. (I won one too!) its a chinese flowering plant with a little garden stake that says something like---please plant in your garden in honor of Kailee---isnt that a great idea? I am so happy to honor Miss Kailee in my garden!
I bet it was Miss Kailees first big girl party too! I think they both look adorable in their little party dresses
Miss Amelia got a little cranky mid shower and napped in the stroller---a whole 20 min. :0
After the shower, we rushed home and packed our bags for a trip to Alabama. It was time to meet the grandparents and Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Bob. Amelia is a little trooper. sleep schedules were tampered with, we were in yet another new place, etc. but she did very well. We put her in bed with us, because she was feeling a little insecure being someplace new. She woke up periodically during the night, but a little snuggle and whispered comfort sent her right back to sleep. I wondered how she would do last night back home---in other words, would she want to sleep with us here, since she got a taste of sleeping with mom and dad? thankfully, she went to bed and slept through the night back in her own crib.
