Easter is Fun!

First, Mommy put me in a pretty dress, and I twirled and twirled. and then she said the Easter Bunny came to see me. Did he come to see you???

Hey! Is that a bunny rabbit in there?

Mommy thought I might like to pet the bunny...........but I quickly said NOOOOOO. I just pulled everything else out, and left that bunny alone. No bunnies for me!

........and that Easter Bunny put jewely in my purse! I liked the purple bracelet so much, that I stretched and stetched it and little purple beads shot all over the room. :) I said: "oohh weeeee!"

Then Daddy blew bubble from my new bunny rabbit bubble blower

and I colored in my Easter color book. Then Mommy asked me why my teeth were orange!

good thing those colors are non- toxic!

Its a wonder Mommy and Daddy were able to get ready for church with me having so much fun breaking jewelry and eating crayons......I like to keep them on their toes, ya know.

Rites of Passage

So many things that I do as a parent, are a real compliment to my parents. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? This is especially true in my attempt to recreate the holidays of my childhood for Amelia. I was bound and determined to dye eggs with her this year, although I thought she was probably a little young to enjoy it. I was pleasantly surprised though :) she really got into it. of course, anything that involves splashing in water appeals to this girl.....just ask the dog.......who rarely has water in his bowl, because Miss A dumps it out 40 times per day. or puts her shoes in it, or mommy's keys, etc. Give her some water in pretty colors? NIRVANA!
