Amelia and I had fun with our friends at the city easter egg hunt. Amelia loved dancing to the kiddy band, getting a baloon, and people watching!

the egg hunt, was essentially a race for greedy parents to scoop up all the candy and eggs they could and put them into their toddlers basket. Miss A and I were at the back of the crowd, and there was very little left after the 30 seconds or so it took us to get into the toddler area. Not that I care that much about the candy.....I dont need it and dont want her to have much candy anway, but geezzzzzz parents.......what happened to the "hunt" part of egg hunt? how about allowing your little one to experience the wonder of finding an egg and putting it into his or her own basket? hmm.........maybe there were lots of type A's on crack there............

I took my oldest son to egg hunts every year and left 1/2 nuts. My poor youngest son has been to maybe one as I can not take the PARENTS anymore. I have never wanted to "wack" another adult as I do when I am at a KIDS easter egg hunt. Happy Easter...Amelia is a BEAUTIFUL litte girl and I can not get over how big she is getting:)
