The Clock is Tickin

Our baby turned 8 months old today.........and the clock is ticking. TAs are running about 37 to 55 days under normal circumstances. Of course, you never know...it could speed up a little or slow down a little, but I'm hoping for TA the week of May 15th, and to leave between June 1st and 7th, but there are no guarantees, and CCAI cant tell me with any certaintly when my TA will be here, just that "it could be 60 to 90 days from LOI, (LOI is April 6th) although lately they've been coming sooner."
wierd. i've been blue today. I dont know if I got up on the wrong side of the bed, have PMS or what, but then it ocurred to me that today is her 8 month birthday. I thought the wait for travel would be so much easier than the wait for referral. But now that I have her picture, I just feel an underlying, I dont know.........agitation, I guess. Like that feeling when you have a splinter or a hang nail that you cant seem to get rid of.
what a roller coaster. I remember when I first become DTC I was reading the Journey to Sophie blog, and Shana said something to the effect of wishing she could go to sleep and just sleep until time to leave.
yeah......I get that.
Happy 8 months little baby

Cheer Up Girlie!!!! Just dream about the moment you will hold Amelia in your arms for the first time. You guys will be together forever in just a few more days. All the heartache you are feeling now will vanish in an instant-the very instant that your eyes meet hers.

You are so close! Hang in there, maybe you need to snuggle beneath a pink toile blanket for a bit of a pick me up.

Happy 8 months sweet little Amelia!
